What "Spiritual War Chest" Means
A war chest is a reserve of resources set aside for a difficult fight or campaign. The same principle can apply to your spiritual life.
Scripture reminds us that our warfare is not fought with ordinary weapons. "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
As we walk with God, He may speak through Scripture, prophetic words, dreams, visions, prayer, circumstances, or other ways. These moments can become valuable reminders of His direction, promises, and faithfulness, and through these reminders, we learn how to be equipped for the battle ahead of us.
The Scattered Spiritual Records Cycle
Many people do have a collection of what God has spoken, but often it isn't all in one place, but scattered through maybe three or more places.
